The vision of Florida's Hometown USA Program is to involve more students of Florida in the area of volunteering and to be recognized nationally as a leader in caring for children and youth and servicing people. In Florida's Hometown USA we develop, evaluate and disseminate programs that foster young people's ethical, social and intellectual development. While nurturing the importance of volunteer work, we also strive to deepen the commitment of values such as kindness, helpfulness, personal responsibility and respect for others - qualities that we believe are essential to leading productive lives in our society.
